Terms of Use

These terms govern access to the Own the Dial private test, website and resource tools.

Private-testing terms · Effective September 7, 2026

Adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to use Own the Dial during private testing.

1. Educational tracking tool

Own the Dial records information you enter and performs calculations. It is not a medical device, healthcare provider, dietitian, emergency service or substitute for professional advice, diagnosis or treatment. Do not use it to make urgent or high-risk medical decisions. Contact qualified care or emergency services when needed.

2. Your targets and entries

You are responsible for the accuracy of entries and for choosing targets appropriate for you. Targets should come from your own informed plan or a qualified professional. Calculations, scans and exports may contain errors; review information before relying on or sharing it.

3. Private testing

The product is unfinished and may change, be interrupted, lose functionality or contain defects. Keep independent copies of important records. We may suspend access to protect users, data or the service.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

Keep account credentials confidential and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. Do not attempt to access another person’s data, disrupt the service, upload malicious material, reverse engineer protected portions, or use the service unlawfully.

5. Your content and exports

You retain ownership of information you enter. You authorize Own the Dial and its service providers to process it only as needed to provide, secure and maintain the service and as described in the Privacy Notice. You control whether and with whom you share exported reports. Once you send an export independently, the recipient’s privacy practices apply.

6. External professionals and links

Directory and map links are informational and are not endorsements, referrals or guarantees of credentials, quality or availability. Own the Dial is not part of an agreement between you and an independent professional and is not responsible for their services or handling of information you provide directly.

7. Intellectual property

The Own the Dial name, branding, interface and original content are owned by Own the Dial LLC or its licensors. These terms permit personal, noncommercial use of the service and do not transfer ownership.

8. Disclaimers and limits

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for a particular health outcome. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

9. Ending use and changes

You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may update these terms as the private test changes and will provide notice or seek renewed agreement where required.
