Accessibility
Own the Dial is being designed with accessibility as an ongoing product requirement.
We aim to make the public website and application usable across a range of devices, input methods and assistive technologies, and use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a design and testing target where applicable. Formal conformance has not yet been established through a complete accessibility audit.
Areas we consider
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus
- Readable contrast and semantic headings and landmarks
- Meaningful form labels and alternative text for meaningful images
- Sufficiently large interactive targets and responsive layouts
- Alternatives to interactions that depend only on dragging, where applicable
- Reduced unnecessary motion and understandable validation messages
